There is a peaceful atmosphere in the small village of Thudaiyur, near Trichy, which has the potential to accommodate the owner's dream of a country home. Essentially, it is an area completely secluded from the outside world, where you can enjoy your retirement years to the fullest. Coconut grooves, farmland, and farm animals can be found in the backyard of the house, providing some depth and meaning to life.

The needs are simple and the house must be constructed within a limited budget. The design, however, seeks to complement rather than to contrast with the environment. As the clients were familiar with sloped roofs, we added a touch of flavor through the use of locally sourced materials. This turned out to be one of our closet projects.
